To provide effective cooling without drying out the air

 
While conventional air conditioning would be able to keep greenhouses cool, the air would soon become too dry for healthy plant growth.
A separate air humidifier would be needed - obviously not a very cost effective solution.

Breezair evaporative coolers, however, not only keep the air at the right temperature, but provide all the moist, fresh air the plants would receive in their natural environment.


Summer Design Condition:
32°C dry-bulb temp
40% relative humidity

Special conditions:
Each greenhouse consists of 16 small rooms with a central corridor

Rooms area : 3m x 2m = 6m2

 

Room volume :
15m3. Solar heat load extremely high

Breezair model:
EA120SV for each room. Air change rate is very high, but spill air from the small rooms is used to cool the larger open areas of the total building
